Juston joins BYU-Pathway as a data specialist.
When a position for a data specialist opened up at the Pathway Home Office in Rexburg, Idaho, Juston Cheney excitedly applied. Juston had heard about BYU-Pathway from his parents who were currently serving as missionaries assigned to BYU-Pathway in Georgia. His friend, BYU-Pathway web specialist Amber Mitchell, had also recommended he apply. She explained how the program was growing and his skill set would be a great addition to the home office. “It was exciting and felt like the right thing to do,” Juston said.
Juston graduated from BYU-Idaho with a bachelor’s degree in web design and development, giving him the knowledge he uses in his position as a data specialist with Pathway. As the new data specialist, Juston works with the systems team to collect student and program data for BYU-Pathway.

“My role is to provide data support, which means creating reports of what has happened, what is happening, and what might happen,” Juston said. He also works on the administration systems that are used by missionaries, students, and local leaders. The information he collects will help facilitate decisions made throughout BYU-Pathway.
When Juston is not working hard at BYU-Pathway, he is spending time with his wife, Madeline, and daughter, Wendy. Juston and Madeline met as students at BYU-Idaho and have loved starting their life together in Rexburg.
