Look past life’s distractions and focus on the important things
In today’s world, it is easy to get caught up in the many problems and worries that surround us. The teachings of the gospel can help us maintain an eternal perspective as we go about our lives and continue through BYU-Pathway Worldwide.
We do not need to worry when we trust in Christ. While teaching His sermon on the mount, the Savior reminded His disciples of the importance of looking to Him:
“Therefore, take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, wherewith shall we be clothed? … for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
We will always face difficulties in this world, and earning an education is not easy, but Christ is always here for us. If we turn to the Him and press on with faith instead of worrying in our times of trial, we will receive the help that we need.
