Charity Never Faileth

In PathwayConnect, working with others is encouraged — but that doesn’t mean it is easy

Every week, students and missionaries gather together to learn from and support one another. This interaction has been the start of many wonderful friendships around the world. By working together, we are more likely to achieve our goals, understand one another, and learn.

When working in any group setting, the truth that “charity never faileth”1 can easily be forgotten. There are many kinds of people, with many different personalities. But when we remember that “charity is the pure love of Christ,”2 we are reminded that Christ loves everyone; and so should we.

The scriptures tell us how to develop Christlike love for those around us: “Pray unto the Father with all the energy of heart, that ye may be filled with this love.”3 If we ask, the Lord will help us see others as He sees them. And when we do, strangers transform into friends, we learn and understand one another, and we are all lifted.
