Seek Learning

Your path doesn’t end here — go forth and continue to find knowledge

With only eleven days of formal schooling, President Brigham Young never stopped learning new ideas. He repeatedly counseled the Saints that the primary reason of our mortal existence is to learn. “We might ask, when shall we cease to learn? I will give you my opinion about it: never, never." 1

Seek out the wonderful truths and principles found throughout the scriptures. Study them with your friends and family; share with them a love of learning. Take advantage of PathwayConnect and the many skills you can acquire from your spiritual and secular courses. Follow the counsel of the Lord to “seek ye diligently and teach one another words of wisdom; yea, seek ye out of the best books words of wisdom; seek learning, even by study and also by faith.” 2

Don’t let PathwayConnect be the end of your educational road. Whether you decide to move on to BYU-Idaho, a local institution of learning, or bring your skills to the workplace, always look for new opportunities to learn and grow. If you make education a central part of your life, you will find joy and satisfaction in learning.

“And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation.” 3
