J.A. Bañez

J.A. was born in the Philippines and moved to Chicago when he was 12. He is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree online in communication with an emphasis on advertising through BYU-Idaho. After serving a full-time mission in Southeastern Idaho, J.A. gained a newfound passion for writing, which he is excited to develop while writing for BYU-Pathway Worldwide. He feels honored and privileged to write about the inspiring stories of BYU-Pathway students and missionaries. Besides writing, he also has a deep love for music, sports, and learning new languages. He currently speaks Tagalog, English, and Spanish.
