"I started the first semester on April 2019 during a very difficult time since I was separating from my husband. The BYU-Pathway program became a refugee, a means of receiving comfort and strength from heaven.
"However, after having completed a semester and a half, I suffered from episodes of anxiety, as I was trying to balance the feelings of disappointment and grief along with my new responsibilities of managing the home on my own. So I decided to just dedicate myself to my work and calling in order to heal.
"In September 2020, during the Covid-19 quarantine, I felt a strong and clear impression to resume the program 2 days before the fall semester began. I didn't think I could do it because I didn't meet the admission deadline, however the Holy Spirit was very clear and prompted me to ask the local service missionary's about it. To my surprise they had extended the registration time! God certainly reminded me that He knows me, understands me, and has a plan for me.
"I am so grateful for second chances and for everything that led me to get back to this program. Being part of BYU-Pathway gives me vision, reminds me of my worth and divine nature. It has taught me to let God be the one who direct's and shape my lifetime career to be a better disciple of Christ and reach my potential."
