Michelle Davis was recently hired as the student support specialist working with day-to-day operations. Her path to BYU-Pathway Worldwide began in 2015 when she started school at BYU-Idaho and began working at the Pathway Support center she now helps operate.

As the youngest of three children, Michelle grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada. Her parents are both from Mexico and moved to the United States in their 20s and settled in San Diego. When they moved to Las Vegas, her family was introduced to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and, with time, all of her family became members. Michelle’s family was sealed in the Las Vegas Temple in 2004.

In April 2018, Michelle married her best friend, Tyler, in the Las Vegas Temple. They met on her second day at BYU-Idaho through a mutual friend and have been inseparable ever since. Together they enjoy fishing, watching Netflix, looking for new places to eat, and going to farmer’s markets.

Michelle returned from her Spanish-speaking mission in Louisville, Kentucky, in 2015 and enjoys swimming, stargazing, and traveling the world.

“BYU-Pathway has not only blessed the lives of thousands of students, but it has also blessed my life, reminding me how merciful the Lord is to all His children,” Michelle said. “Higher education is very important to me, and watching PathwayConnect students graduate and then achieve their goals through BYU-Idaho is priceless.”

Michelle has loved working with BYU-Pathway over the years and has built lasting friendships with both students and coworkers. Tyler and Michelle have moved to Salt Lake City, Utah, where she will complete her final semester at BYU-Idaho online. She will graduate in July 2018 in industrial organizational psychology.
